Hepaset PRO is a professionally developed formula for people who require special care for health and proper functioning of the liver 1,2.

The composition of Hepaset PRO was composed by a multidisciplinary team of specialists and nutritionists based on recognized scientific data. Hepaset PRO has a pure composition, is a gluten-free product, suitable for vegans, does not contain milk proteins and lactose. The product is characterized by a minimal share of food additives.

Hepaset PRO contains a complex of ten important ingredients that are worth supplementing the diet in the case of1,2:

using daily hormone therapy, e.g. taking thyroid hormones,
long-term use of preparations that burden the liver,
using hormonal contraception,
using hormone replacement therapy,
applying a restrictive diet,
lead an intense lifestyle,
exposure to stress and the harmful effects of the external environment.

The basic assumption when developing Hepaset PRO was the lack of compromises in terms of the highest quality and selection of appropriate, biologically active forms of ingredients.

Hepaset Pro Ingredients Features:

- L-CHOLINE:

Choline contributes to the maintenance of the proper functioning of the liver. It also plays an important role in the metabolism and transport of lipids and cholesterol. 3
Choline is an integral part of some phospholipids that are crucial in the processes of building and functioning of cell membranes. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal homocysteine metabolism.

- L-METIONINE:

L-methionine contained in Hepaset PRO is one of the essential amino acids necessary for the functioning of the human body (it cannot be synthesized in the human body and must be supplied with food).
L-methionine is involved in numerous metabolic reactions and methylation processes. Apart from cysteine, it is the only amino acid that contains sulfur and supplies the body with sulfur groups. Participates in the synthesis of glutathione. 4

- L- ASPARAGINATE L- ORNITINE:

L-ornithine L-aspartate (LOLA) contained in Hepaset PRO is a salt of two endogenous amino acids (synthesized by the body): ornithine and aspartic acid.
Both L-ornithine and L-aspartate participate in the urea cycle. It is a multi-stage process of important metabolic changes that are used to remove harmful waste products from the body.

- ACUTE EXTRACT / SILYMARINE:

Hepaset PRO contains milk thistle seed extract standardized for the content of silymarin (minimum 80%), as well as silybin and isosilibin (total - minimum 30%). Thanks to the content of silymarin, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) supports liver health. 5
The action of silymarin supporting the protection of liver cells results, among others, from with its ability to inhibit the activity of free radicals (acts as a scavenger of free radicals), which are formed in the liver through numerous metabolic changes.

- COMPLEX OF VITAMINS FROM GROUP B:

Hepaset PRO contains a complex of six B vitamins that are essential for the proper functioning of many human body processes.
Hepaset PRO contains vitamin B12 and folic acid in a methylated form, which is very important due to the level of bioavailability of these ingredients.

B vitamins contained in Hepaset PRO fulfill the following roles:

Thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism8,9,10,11.
Riboflavin contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress9.
Vitamin B6 contributes to the maintenance of normal protein and glycogen metabolism13 and the correct synthesis of cysteine10.
Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the maintenance of normal homocysteine metabolism10,12.
Vitamin B12 plays a role in the process of cell division12.

L-TAURINE

The L-taurine contained in Hepaset PRO is a naturally occurring amino acid derived from the metabolism of methionine and cysteine. It plays an important role in basic biological processes.
Dietary supplements containing taurine are well-tolerated sources of nitrogen for nutritional support, they regulate the plasma amino acid concentration, nitrogen balance, weight and serum protein concentration to normal levels, thus improving the nutritional status. Taurine is involved in many physiological processes, including bile acid conjugation, inflammatory responses, and glucose metabolism. 14

N ‑ ACETYL L ‑ CYSTEIN (NAC)

Acetylcysteine is a synthetic N-acetyl derivative of the endogenous amino acid L-cysteine, an antioxidant glutathione (GSH) precursor, with the activity of, among others, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Acetylcysteine appears to be hepatoprotective. 15
Many studies have shown that NAC increases the level of GSH in liver cells, which in turn has an antioxidant effect in the cells. It increases the protective capacity of liver cells as GSH depletion is often seen as a consequence of increased oxidative stress and inflammation.16

SELENIUM

Hepaset PRO Selenium SeLECT® is a unique chemical unit containing molecularly integrated selenium in place of sulfur in the molecule of the essential amino acid - methionine. Selenium SeLECT® is the preferred form of selenium supplementation due to its safety and recognition as a more bioavailable form of selenium than other selenium and methionine products.
Selenomethionine acts synergistically with silymarin and supports it in its antioxidant activity at the liver level.17, 18

Molybdenum

The molybdenum contained in Hepaset PRO contributes to the proper metabolism of sulfur amino acids. 19
Molybdenum acts as a cofactor for certain enzymes in humans, such as sulfite oxidase, xanthine oxidase (XO), and aldehyde oxidase, which are involved in the metabolism of sulfur amino acids and purine metabolism.19
