Lactovaginal is an over-the-counter drug that is used vaginally to restore or replenish the normal vaginal flora. The drug contains live lactic acid bacteria of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573 strain.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The usual dose of Lactovaginal in women and girls over 16 years of age is: 1 to 2 capsules a day (vaginally, one in the morning and one at night) for 1 week.
The capsule should be placed deep in the vagina, respecting the rules of personal hygiene.
If necessary, the treatment should be repeated, but after consulting a doctor.

The active substance is live Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573 rods. 1 capsule contains about 1010 (including not less than 108 CFU - colony forming units) Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573 rods. Excipients: skimmed milk powder, sucrose, sodium L-glutamate, potato starch magnesium stearate, mannitol and capsule ingredients: gelatin and titanium dioxide.
