Lutein and zeaxanthin, obtained from the flowers of Tagetes erecta (Aztec marigold), support the proper functioning of vision. They support proper pigmentation of the macula in the retina, which is responsible for central vision and visual acuity. Lutein and zeaxanthin support proper protection of the eyes against the harmful effects of light, especially blue light, which is why they are recommended for people who spend a lot of time in front of screens of electronic devices. In addition, they have antioxidant properties, thanks to which they support correct protection of eye cells against free radicals.
