Vitamin B7 (biotin, vitamin H) is an organic chemical compound and a coenzyme that participates in numerous biochemical processes. It belongs to the water-soluble B vitamins. It occurs in both animal and plant organisms. Biotin is called the "vitamin of beauty".

Properties of biotin:
