Curcumin-piperine complex. Formula consisting of turmeric rhizome and black pepper extracts in optimally selected proportions.


Curcumin is an organic chemical compound and the main active ingredient of the turmeric rhizome, which makes up 2 to 5% of its content. The preparation contains natural turmeric extract standardized to 95% curcuminoids. The isolated curcumin was obtained by extraction of the turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa).


Piperine is an organic chemical compound found in black pepper fruits. Piperide alkaloids were first isolated by Hans Christian Oersted in 1819. The preparation includes black pepper extract standardized for 95% piperine.
