MEDVERITA Red Yeast Rice + Monacolin K 120 Capsules

Monacolin K from fermented red rice helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The preparation contains an extract of rice fermented with Monascus purpureus yeast standardized for the content of 5% monacolin K. Each capsule contains 10 mg of monacolin K.

Niacin in the form of nicotinic acid.

Quatrefolic® used in the preparation is the most bioavailable and stable form of folate. Quatrefolic® is produced and patented by the Italian biotechnology company Gnosis S.p.A.

P-5-P (coenzymatic vitamin B6), i.e. pyrodixal phosphate, is a biologically active form of vitamin B6. The other types of vitamin B6 (including the most popular pyrodixine hydrochloride) are enzymatically converted in the liver to pyrodxal phosphate. P-5-P does not have to undergo this conversion, which makes it more digestible.
