Lugol's solution is an aqueous solution of crystalline iodine and potassium iodide according to the recipe of Jean Lugol, which was created by him in 1829.

Dosage

Use in case of radioactive risk according to WHO:
Adult 70 kg - 12.5 mg prophylactically daily
5 % Lugol's solution - 2 drops = 12.5 mg
1 drop contains: ≈ 5 mg potassium iodide, 2.5 mg iodine.

Use: the product is a chemical, analytical reagent for teaching purposes, also used for water treatment. Other use of the chemical reagent at your own risk.
