NOW SPORTSMCT Oil - Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats naturally found in coconut oil and palm oil. They are easier and faster digested than other types of fats. MCTs are easily absorbed from the digestive tract and are metabolized very quickly by the liver, in which they are encouraged to use fat instead of energy. Numerous studies suggest that the replacement of MCT with other food oils. It helps in maintaining a healthy diet. Body weight does not grow and the silhouette stays slim.
MCT Oil has a naturally occurring fatty acid, caprylic acid (C8: 0) and capric acid (C10: 0). NOW® MCT Oil comes from coconut oil, which is sourced in a sustainable way to protect our planet and preserve the natural habitats of wild animals.

Dosage

Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL) daily. MCT oil can also be used as a substitute for conventional oils in salad dressings, sauces or cooking. Not recommended for use in frying due to low smoke point.
