After 1 hour of stimulation, cell culture supernatants were harvested and the concentration of TNF-α cytokine was measured using a commercially available ELISA kit. TNF-α cytokines are tumor necrosis factors involved in both the immune and inflammatory responses. It is easy to deduce from the research that M-Gard® is more effective compared to beta-glucan from distiller's yeast.
