Heartwort (Leonurus cardiaca L.)a species of perennial plant belonging to the light family. It reaches a height of up to 1.5 metres and is characterised by emitting a faint, unpleasant odour. It is found in Europe, Turkey and North America.
    
How does it work?
The cordial herb is rich in substances with sedative properties, while the dried herb contains high levels of flavonoids. In addition, it is rich in constituents such as terpenes, tannins, various glycosides, mineral salts, choline, and essential oil*. It exhibits mainly sedative and calming properties, thus promoting nervous system health. It helps to facilitate the maintenance of the heart and circulatory system.
