What is the ground elder?
Ground elder (Aegopodium podagraria L.) is a plant belonging to the celery family. It is native to Europe and western Asia. The plant has a long history of use as an herbal ingredient and owes its Polish name to the fact that it was once used as a traditional remedy to treat gout, a form of gout.
