Enterol is an anti-diarrheal medicinal product containing the yeast Saccharomyces boulardii.

Enterol affects the intestinal flora, it is called a "substitute for natural flora" to compensate for its temporary disturbance.

Enterol for oral use is used in:
  • treatment of acute infectious diarrhea,
  • preventing post-antibiotic diarrhea,
  • recurrent diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile infection, in addition to treatment with vancomycin or metronidazole
  • prevention of diarrhea associated with enteral nutrition,
  • preventing traveler's diarrhea.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
