Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin is a preparation in the form of sublingual tablets containing vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin (100 mcg). The product is recommended for adults as a supplement to a daily diet of vitamin B12.

Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble substance, also called cobalamin, because it contains the metal cobalt in its structure. It is present mainly in animal products: meat, eggs, fish - the livers and kidneys contain the most vitamin. Vitamin B12 is important for the proper functioning of our bodies.

Methylcobalamin/MB12 - the biochemically active form of B12, very important in the methylation process. The absorption of B12 from food is determined by the good condition of the gastrointestinal tract, especially the stomach.

Vitamin B12:
  • helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system,
  • helps to maintain normal homocysteine metabolism,
  • helps to maintain normal mental functions,
  • helps in correct production of red blood cells,
  • helps to maintain proper functioning of the immune system,
  • contributes to decreasing feelings of tiredness and staleness,
  • plays a role in the process of cell division.

Dosage

Recommended daily allowance: 1 tablet. Preferred consumption: place in mouth and wait until completely dissolved. Acceptable swallowing.
