Iodine is not recommended to be taken preventively, especially in high doses.
Please pay attention to the doses: our product has 60 mg, which is equal to 60,000 mcg (μg).
The radiation hazard can be tracked on the government website by entering the radiation situation in the search engine.
Iodine should only be taken after medical consultation or after a nuclear disaster (in the case of iodine 131 emission).

Dosage

WHO recommendations on the dosage of potassium iodide:
  • Newborns (up to 1 month of age) 16 mg
  • Children (from 1 month to 3 years of age) 32 mg
  • Children (from 3 to 12 years of age) 65 mg
  • Adolescents (over 12 years of age), adults 130 mg
Potassium iodide contained in the capsule should only be taken as prescribed by a doctor or in case of official health warnings.
TELL your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medications.
STOP taking it if you experience any disturbing symptoms (e.g. stomach problems, rash, swollen salivary glands).
DO NOT USE if you are hypersensitive to iodine, are taking medications for blood pressure or thyroid gland.
