Ashwagandha root (Withania somnifera - hello greeting) has been used by man for hundreds of years. Thanks to the achievements of modern science and many studies, it is now valued for its natural adaptogenic properties, i.e. the ability to normalize and improve various body functions.

The Solgar product is created in a unique process combining traditional herbalism and modern herb processing technology. To ensure a stable level of 4.5 mg of vitanolids in 300 mg of Ashwaganda root extract, we control the amount of these important, biologically active plant compounds. The extract is combined with all naturally occurring components in 100 mg of raw root. The result is a strong, standardized, high-quality herbal extract with full synergistic properties found in nature.

To keep the active ingredients fresh, we add our special, patented ingredient PhytO2X® to the capsule - a mixture of naturally occurring antioxidants (natural beta carotene, L-ascrobic acid).
