Fucus (Ascophyllum nodosum) is seaweed which is the source of iodine in this product. The nutrients in the water are absorbed by this seaweed, making it a rich source of minerals [1].

One of them is iodine. It is an element needed, inter alia, for the production of thyroid hormones, which, in turn, are important in the regulation of our metabolism [2].

Iodine helps:
  • keep healthy skin,
  • in maintaining proper cognitive functions,
  • in the proper functioning of the nervous system,
  • in the proper functioning of the thyroid gland.
Iodine in our daily diet is mostly found in marine fish, salt, meat and dairy products. Its supply from other sources is therefore important for people who are on a vegetarian, vegan or otherwise need to limit the food groups mentioned above.

Dosage

One (1) tablet daily in adults, preferably with meals or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important. The product is not a substitute for a varied diet.

Do not use other products containing iodine.

Pregnant women, nursing mothers and people taking medication or sick people should consult a doctor before taking.
