Pine bark extract is mainly known for its high content of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC).

OPC are biologically active compounds with strong antioxidant properties, which significantly eliminate free oxygen radicals.  As is well known, an excess of free radicals accelerates the ageing process.

OPC from Scots pine bark contains a powerful extract with a concentration of 95%. This allows the body to take full advantage of the properties of the preparation.

Particularly noteworthy is the unique ability of OPC to fight perinitrate free radicals, which is not found in other antioxidants. This gives OPC from pine bark an advantage in preventive actions.

Pine bark is also a rich source of valuable components such as tannins, flavonoids, essential oils and mineral salts. Pine bark extract successfully supports the proper functioning of the respiratory system.
